We are a privately run post secondary community college that offers professional and techical career oriented diploma and certificate programs. As a community college we have the opportunity to provide regionally based programs designed specifically to meet the needs of particular industries in particular areas. This is done to give back to the community in skilled workers and an increased economy.
Our student base is diverse in that we have students with different needs, different career goals and different cultural, educational and economic backgrounds. Students can enter direct from high school heading towards their first skilled job or as mature students looking for a career change or skills upgrade. We are proud that our graduates chose us because they shared a desire for focused and practical study that made them competitive in the job market.
We provide educational programs in occupational fields, including accounting, office administration, insurance, information technology, human services and special education. One of the major factors to a college's success is the ability to keep curriculum up-to-date to reflect industry and market needs. We review our programs every year and make appropriate changes, if necessary, after consulting with employers in various fields.
